Who am I ? #

I am a 21 year old french male on the Internet! For the past years, I’ve been on the DehiXeM Youtube channel, which is an Indie gaming focused channel. I publish reviews for Indius.org, a successful indie gaming news website.

I previously studied economics and law for three years during which editing was a hobby of mine. Being involved in video editing ever since, I currently am undertaking a two year course in a cinematography school specialized in post-production.

The reason I’m offering to create free trailers is to practice, and more importantly build up a solid list of content I would have created. Some bits of my work may be included in demo real videos I would present for further professional opportunities!

Skills and assets. #

I’m very comfortable using Avid Media Composer (which is the industry standard), Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.

I can use After Effects to a quite reasonable extent : logo animations, tracking, general effects, typography animation etc.

(scroll down for some of my previous works!)

Color correction and color grading are one of my favorite aspects of editing.

Hardware-wise here is a list of what I use :

On a side note, I regularly handle broadcast quality cameras:

Interested in a free trailer for your product after reading all of this? Well, here are some guidelines to help you get started.

Guidelines for a great e-mail request! #

Don’t really know what to include in your e-mail request for a free trailer? Just include the following requested information and that will be a great start!

  • What will the trailer be about? Please be as exhaustive as possible concerning the product and/or company that will be featured.

  • How long would you like the trailer to be? You don’t have to be very precise, just give an approximation rounded to the nearest full or half minute. Trailers up to 3 minutes MAX.

  • What features are to be displayed in the trailer? This could be information such as technical assets, price tags, release dates, text of all sort etc.

  • Very important : in what tone should the trailer be made? Should it be formal, humoristic, frightening, etc. ? This is -the most- important information because the trailer is ENTIRELY built around that. I can modify many things after I send you a prototype for approval, but this I won’t be able to change (it would basically make me start over).

  • Last but certainly not least, please provide as much media footage as possible! Images, music, sound effects, logos, software .exe, video footage etc. This will help A LOT and speed up the creation process.
